The Professional 2, publicado en 2001 a través de Desert Storm, Roc-A-Fella e Island Def Jam, fue la esperada continuación de su exitoso debut y capturó un momento irrepetible en la historia del hip hop, cuando sellos como Roc-A-Fella, Ruff Ryders y Def Jam dominaban la escena.
